Key Computer Solutions provides repairs, upgrades, installations, configurations
and many other onsite services. However, this type of service can become cost prohibitive.
Especially, considering that a lot of that time is spent waiting on file downloads
or large data transfers to complete.
As long as the job does not relate to a mission critical computer, involves a considerable
amount of waiting time or is inconvenient for your schedule to wait during the repair
process our technician can pickup the computer, perform the service off-site then
return the unit after the work is complete.
From time to time we encounter a problem that can not be resolved during the initial
call. Perhaps the customer does not have proper equipment or media. Maybe the repair
requires a part that is not locally available and has to be ordered. We have developed
a flat fee to cover a two trip service event which includes pickup, delivery and
all work performed off-site.
Computer returned within 1-3 business days but may vary based on part(s) availability
Does not include cost of part(s) needed to repair the unit
Does not include data backup / restoration
Does not include software installation not directly related to hardware being repaired
In case of hard drive replacement, customer must supply recovery media and valid
certificate of authenticity. The unit will be restored to factory condition and all
applicable updates will be installed
After initial 15 minutes to reconnect equipment, standard hourly rates will resume
Payment for service due at initial visit with balance for part(s), data backup /
restoration, and additional software installation, if any, due on return visit.
Customer will be contacted once suitable replacement part(s) are located with final
quote. If customer opts not to repair the unit due to the cost of replacement part(s),
unit will be returned with no additional charge.
